Slottsparken i La Hulpe // The castle park in La Hulpe

Detta är nog den konstigaste seqouia jag någonsin har sett. Kort och krumpen och böjd som om den mot sin vilja har tvingats växa på en plats där den egentligen inte har trivits....
 
// This might be the strangest seqouia I have ever seen.  Short and crumb and bent as if it has been forced to grow against it's own will on a spot which it didn't really like....
 
 
Slottet och domänen köptes av industri-mannen Ernest Solvay 1893, men slottet fick till stor del sitt nuvarande utséende under 1900-talet genom arkitekten Georges Collin.
