Climate March in Brussels 2nd Dec 2018
Så var det dags igen! Dagen till ära när n ästa miljömöte går av stapeln in Katowice i Polen COP24 så passade ett flertal organisationer på att göra en stor manifestation i Bryssel. Buss, tunnelbana, spårvagn var gratis och tågen till Bryssel erbjöd halva priset vilket gjorde att de var smockfulla. Arrangörerna hoppades på 20 000 deltagare och det blev ca. 70 000! (65 000 enligt polisen 75 000 enligt arrangörerna) Kartan ovnför visade de två olika demonstrationsvägarna, den röda för cyklisterna och den gröna för fotgängarna. Krysset är centralstationen.
// Here we go again! To honor the day when the next environmental meeting starts in Katowice in Poland COP24 a number of organisations decided to make a manifestation in Brussels. Bus, metro, tram were free and the traintickets to Brussels were offered to half price which made them completely clogged. The organizers hoped to get around 20 000 people and there were around 70 000! (65 000 according to the police 75 000 according to the organizers) The map above shows the two different paths, the red for the people on bicycles and the green for the pedestrians. The cross is the central station.
Jag gick med Laurent den första timmen och hade ingen möjlighet att fotografera förrän Patrick anslöt, därav inga egna foton från folksamlingarna vilka var imponerande.

Och som alltid med mycket folk = sopor, trots att det är en klimatmarch... hmm.

När jag frågade varför just Assange så sa de att det var p.g.a. inskränkningar i pressfriheten.

Det största hotet mot vår planet är tron att någon annan ska rädda den.

Dagens outfit: Blå regnjacka eftersom regn hade utlovats (som vi lyckades undvika det mesta av) , virkad vinter-OS-mössa av mamma, rejäl och varm blå tröja, beige trikåkjol från Zara (de flesta av mina byxor går inte över korsetten) och foträtta skor med skoinlägg. ;-)
// Todays outfit: Blue rain coat because rain was promised but we succeeded to avoid most of it, crocheted winter-olympic-games-hat from mum, big blue pullover, beige tricot skirt from Zara (most of my pants I can't wear over the corset) and orthopedic friendly shoes with inserted soles. ;-)
