Nycklarna / The Keys
Inspirerad häromkvällen fick jag för mig att rita-måla en bild. Eftersom jag plockar fram akvarellpennorna ungefär en gång vart tredje år så blir det som det blir, men lusten att skapa är större än bristen på konstnärlig teknik. ;-)
// Inspired the other evening I started to draw-paint an image. I don't paint more often than about every third year or so, so the result is what it is, but the urge to create is bigger than the lack of technique. ;-)
Kvinnan symboliserar frigörelse och styrka. Känslan? eller insikten när du plötsligt vet att du har allt det du behöver för att lyckas och frigöra dig själv. Det är därför som hon inte ler - hon är bestämd - tittar framåt - uppmärksam, hon kan inte le förrän hon har lyft från marken men kraften att göra det finns där, hon har massor av nycklar och en öppen hand utsträckt mot det som kommer till henne.
// It's about liberty and empowerment. The feeling? or knowing that suddenly you know you have all the things you need to succeed and to liberate yourself. That is why she is not smiling - she is determined - looking forward - attentive, she can't smile before she has lifted from the ground but the power to do it is there, she has plenty of keys and a hand open and stretched out for what will come to her.
Jag har fler idéer på bilder så det kanske kommer några till innan året är slut. Trots allt gäller det att passa på när inspirationen flödar till.
