Fortsättningen på vår utflykt till Chateau de Vêve, den lilla byn Celles i kommunen Houyet, inte att förväxla med ett annat större Celles norr om Tournai.

Ett av flera vackra blomster arrangemang. // One of several beautiful flower arrangements.
Överallt i byn fanns det små trevliga informationstavlor där en fiktiv ung pojke lärde oss om traktens spännande historia. // Everywhere in the village there were nice information boards where a fictional young boy was teaching us about the interesting history of the area.
Notera vapenskölden uppe i väggen. Denna gården hörde till slottet Vêve. // See the shield in the wall? This farm belonged to the castle of Vêve.
Notera vapensköldarna efter familjerna som donerat pengarna till de fina fönstren. // See the shields of the families who donated money for the beautiful windows.
Gammal vägek. // An old road oak.
Heremitaget. På engelska wikipedia står det att han grundade ett kloster, men det är inte riktigt sant, för ingenstans stod det "monastère" där vi läste. Jag vet inte riktigt vad skillnaden är emellertid. Någon som vet? // On the english wikipedia it says he founded a monastery, but it is not really correct because nowhere did we read the word "monastery". I don't know what the difference is though. Someone who knows?
Även om heremitaget är mycket gammalt så konstruerades denna kyrkan och byggnaderna runt omkring från betydligt senare på 1800-talet. // Although the hermitage is very old this church and the surrounding buildings were constructed much later in the 19th century.
